Six Nations of Song : Charity Concert

Our first concert with Julia Campbell as Music Director has a local, but certainly not parochial, connection.

All proceeds from the concert on Sunday 20 May will go the charity My Name’5 Dobbie Foundation set up by former resident and current neighbour of our patch, Doddie Weir, to raise funds for research into Motor Neurone Disease. In homage to Doddie’s stellar career in Scottish Rugby we bring you an engaging selection of music connected in some fashion to the six nations of the Six Nations. We are also delighted to be able to include children from Fountainhall and Heriot Schools in the performance.

Note the new start time of 4.30pm, in Stow Church, with the usual scrumptious buffet afterwards. Tickets: £8; children free – from: Stow Shop; choir members; John on 01578 730289 or on the door. This promises to be a special event and we do hope you’ll join us.
