50 years ago this month the Beatles had their first No.1 hit and the Gala Water Singers are inspired to present a rock’n’roll themed concert ‘A Blast From The Past’ on Sunday 26 May at 7pm in Stow Church, followed by light refreshments. Come and share, or rediscover, some of those memories from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
The community choir is joined by local musicians for a rich evening of musical talent – and while rock’n’roll is the theme there will also be music from other genres of that time.
