Gala Water Singers, is holding a ‘Come and Sing!!’ event on Tuesday 27th at Fountainhall School, 7.30 -9pm. The free evening will contain a selection of songs ideal as a taster for potential new members and a warm up for current singers. What’s most important is that everyone has a good time and a good sing, so anyone who wants to try singing with the group is welcome; there are no auditions or selection processes so the choir hosts a whole range of abilities. Some singers read music and even play and teach instruments while many don’t know how to read music at all, or have only ever sung in the shower! None of that matters. With our Music Director Jim Letham at the helm there’s a fabulous feeling of connection and creating something unique that only singing with others can bring.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to belong to a group of singers (and there’s nothing like it) where there are no auditions, you don’t have to be able to read music and the emphasis is on enjoyment, join Gala Water Singers on Tuesday 27th and give it a go.
