Since our beginnings in 2011, Gala Water Singers has welcomed children from the valley schools as performers in several concerts as a Children’s Choir brought together for the occasion. We know how much the children have enjoyed their singing, and the audiences their participation, so we are delighted to launch a more permanent opportunity for children of the valley (and from further afield for all who are interested) to be part of a Gala Water Singers Children’s Choir on a regular weekly basis on Tuesdays 6.30-7.15pm at Fountainhall School from 2 October 2018.
With specially chosen content for young voices and a fun time, each session includes a drink and a biscuit. Usually the Children’s Choir will perform as part of Gala Water Singers’ concerts but this is not obligatory – the main emphasis is on children enjoying singing together and every child who wants to do that is welcome. £1 per week For more information contact John 01578 730289 or email secretary@galawatersingers.org.uk
