Fountainhall Village Hall has just been successful in its stage one application to the Big Lottery to get funding to refurbish the village hall. Community Spaces Scotland has given us a development grant of £11,109. This is to allow us to get plans, planning permission and community consultation to allow us to move on to stage 2 application form to secure our £250k required to refurbish the hall. We are all delighted as this is the best outcome towards the hall we have reached. There is a lot of work still to do and the team is excited by the challenge.
